Review-
The HATCHBOX black PLA is a filament that I expected to be ok, but nothing special. Typically, I have ran PLA+ since the dryer I have is in an odd spot to use and the filament is exposed to open air. I expected issues with splattering, inconsistent layers and maybe some issues with floating elements like I usually print in the yet another fidget cube we sell. I was quite pleasantly surprised to find that my preconceived notions had no basis for this filament.
Using out of the box settings with the AnkerMake M5C and some organic supports for only the fidget cube, I found that the worst thing that happened was some stringing during a Benchy print and some drooping at extreme angles when I printed the extreme test I use for review. The filament showed no signs of clogging and broke away easily from the supports when in use. I was seemingly able to really print anything I wanted to without any real issues. It stuck nicely to the print bed and had no real layer adhesion issues to speak of. The end result was shiny with a smooth texture and very black and seams to be very durable so far even with some of the smaller pieces printed in the fidget cube.
All in all, a great filament at what I would consider a fair price. At time of review, the filament is $25/1KG and comes in a variety of colors! I plan on getting more and reviewing them in the near future with hopefully very similar results.
